Privacy Statement

The privacy of each individual who visits the Intekron Web site, responds to our advertisements or sends us e-mail is important to us. Intekron maintains strict customer information privacy policies and uses current technology to safeguard customer information from unauthorized disclosure. This Privacy Policy tells you how we collect information from you and how we use it.

A. Customer Information
  1. It is a fact of modern life that companies, including Intekron, must collect information about their customers in order to carry out business and offer services. Internet privacy concerns focus on protecting personally identifiable information that an individual expects to be kept private. Such information, called personally identifiable information, is information associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for instance, a customer's name, address or telephone number, e-mail address, and information about that customer's online activities. Businesses collect personally identifiable information in the course of billing and providing services to a customer.
  2. Intekron will not collect any personally identifiable information on its website about you unless you provide it to us. Intekron may require that you provide personally identifiable information to complete an online order or to request more information about new or current Intekron products or services. If you do not want your personally identifiable information collected, please do not submit it to us. Intekron may transfer your personal information to third parties, including our ecommerce service providers and other agents in order to fulfill your order and provide the highest quality service to you.
  3. Intekron does not currently disclose or sell personally identifiable information to third parties (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or to enforce our Subscription Agreement), without the consent of the customer. When Intekron uses contractors or other companies to perform services on its behalf, Intekron will ensure that your customer information is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  4. In the future, should Intekron decide to share its customer's personally identifiable information with third parties, it will, in advance, provide notice to its customers and the opportunity for its users to indicate whether they would prefer that such information not be provided to third parties.
  5. When you provide us with personally identifiable information, we may use that information in the following ways, unless stated otherwise:
    • for billing purposes;
    • we may contact you if we have questions about your account;
    • we may store and process that information to better understand all customer needs and how we can improve our products and services for all customers; and
    • we may use that information to contact you with new promotions and announcements
B. Non-Personally Identifiable Information Collected Automatically
  1. In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable such as the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the Web site and/or Internet Service Provider from which you linked to our site or advertisement.
C. Children & Privacy
  1. Intekron does not intentionally target or collect personally identifiable information online from children or individuals under 18 years of age. The Intekron Application Hosting Agreements requires each new customer to verify that he or she is over 18-years of age. Intekron encourages parents to take an active role to protect the privacy and security of their children and to prevent the inappropriate use of information about their children on the Internet.
D. Security
  1. We use online security features to safeguard the transmission of information from your personal computer to the Intekron servers. Intekron utilizes the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to provide "secure sessions" for our customers for specific confidential interactions. SSL is an industry standard that is used by leading e-commerce and financial service providers. Through this "secure session", information that you input into a Intekron form will be sent and will arrive privately and unaltered at a Intekron server. This security is used to prohibit other companies and Web users from being able to access your information. Intekron will continue to enhance our online security procedures with new technology.
  2. For users of Intekron's application hosting services, your user password is protected so that only you can access it and view the member and billing information related to your account. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Intekron will not ask you for your password in an unsolicited telephone call or e-mail. If you believe your password has been compromised, you should immediately change your password to prevent the unauthorized use of it. Please contact us at support@intekron.com with any questions.
  3. If credit card numbers are required, they will be transferred from you directly to our third party ecommerce partner over a secure SSL link.
  4. For further details please refer to our Security Policies
